The alternative to HypervenomX Proximo: HypervenomX Finale

Nike FootballX last week got a new member of the family, in the shape of the HypervenomX. We focused on the Proximo at the launch, but there is so much more to the HypervenomX than just the one model. Not everyone loves the Nike Dynamic Fit Collar and for them Nike have developed the Finale.




The story of Nike’s Finale starts way before the introduction of Nike FootballX this year. It was actually the silo that helped create the foundation for all Nike’s indoor/street shoes. The Finale has since then evolved in several different ways and today comes in two separate versions: A MercurialX Finale and now a HypervenomX Finale.





The HypervenomX Finale is fundamentally developed with the same focus points as the HypervenomX Proximo, but with a few adjustments. On the one hand the Proximo is made with the same newly constructed NikeSkin, as on the Phantom II, while the Finale is made with the same upper as we saw on the first generation of Hypervenom. The upper and the removal of the Dynamic Fit collar are the two biggest differences between the Proximo and Finale.



Similarities are however far from at a premium. Nike have also used their Flywire technology on the Finale, as have they with the low Phylon midsole, which is the same on both the Proximo and Finale. Basically the Finale is a genius alternative for the player who doesn’t feel like he needs the Dynamic Fit Collar. And ohh yeah, the Finale is naturally available in both IC and TF models.
