Low Dynamic Fit collar, no Flywire strings and a completely
custom sole plate. FC Barcelona superstar Neymar today trained in a
heavily modified version of the Nike Hypervenom 2 2015 Boots ahead of Barcelona's Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.
The totally new Nike Hypervenom 2 2015 Soccer Cleats are reported to be revealed in late May 2015, just-in-time for the 2015 UEFA Champions League on June 6. Neymar is expected to debut the next-gen Nike Hypervenom II Soccer Boots in the 2015 Copa del Rey Final on 30 May 2015 against Athletic Bilbao and will also wear the Nike Hypervenom 2 Boots in the Champions League Final if Barcelona beats Bayern Munich.

Neymar's modified version of the Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 Cleats features a lower Dynamic Fit collar than the retail product, which is set to hit markets in late May 2015. Nike's Dynamic Fit collar is designed for a flexible ankle support and a sock-like fit.
Additionally, the latest version of the custom Nike Hypervenom Phantom II Neymar Prototype Boots does not feature Flywire threads in the upper, which are a key feature of the all-new Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 Cleats. Neymar's custom Nike Hypervenom 2 Cleats feature a NikeSkin upper without Flywire and additional stitching in the forefoot area.
In fact, Neymar already trained in the first blackout Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 2015 Boots in early January 2015. Since then, the Brazilian striker received several different modified versions of the Nike Hypervenom 2, while his latest boot is anything but the retail version of the Nike Hypervenom Phantom II Soccer Shoes.
It's no surprise that Neymar's new Nike Hypervenom 2 Boots features a custom sole plate as Neymar already received a modified outsole for the first-generation Nike Hypervenom Cleats. Update 05/05/2015 Neymar's modified Nike Hypervenom II Boot features the sole plate of the Nike Tiempo Legend IV Boots, which were released in 2011.
Last year Cristiano Ronaldo opted out for a lower Dynamic Fit collar for his Nike Mercurial Superfly Boot. It now looks like Neymar will also sport a modified version of the Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 Boots.
What do you think of Neymar's custom Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 Boots lacking almost all new technologies of the next-gen Hypervenom? Drop us a line below.
